POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant works with and under the supervision of the Registered Occupational Therapist to implement treatment programs for individual patients according to physician orders and principles/practices of Occupational Therapy. This individual provides documentation of treatments and their outcomes. This individual notes shall be co- signed by the Registered Occupational Therapist.

Minimum Education
Graduate of an occupational therapy assistant school approved by AOTA.

Required Certification/Registration
Valid driver’s license, CPR certification, current certification as an OTA by AOTA.
