Building the Endowment

Your gift to the Wabash County Hospital Foundation Endowment is a vitally important investment for enhancing programs and services to meet the healthcare needs of those we serve. A gift to the WCH Foundation's Endowment Fund is a worthy legacy that will forever help the people of Wabash County.

The WCH Endowment Fund is one of many endowments in the Community Foundation Endowment Program. To help increase the endowment, both corporate and individual memberships in the "WCH Caring Society," are offered. This membership donor club is usually a 3-year annual pledge gift: $ 500 for industries; $ 250 for small business & organizations; $ 100 for individuals.

An added benefit to endowment growth is the Endowment Good Deeds Fund that consists of the investment income or grants obtained from the Endowment Fund. This fund is much appreciated for providing equipment and program assistance, hospital-wide, such as:

  • a new treadmill and other equipment for cardiac rehab
  • new wheelchairs hospital-wide
  • procedure light for ER
  • printer for patient data for ICCU
  • blood pressure monitor unit and cuffs
  • upgrading relay system for radiology readings
  • Health Fair lab screening discounts
  • phlebotomy chair
  • equipment for nursing training (DVD recorder, DVD, TV and wall bracket)
