POSITION TITLE Certified or Licensed Medical Assistant DEPARTMENT Physician Practice WORK CLASS PRN SHIFT (HOURS OF WORK) Days PAY RANGE Based on experience POSITION DESCRIPTION A Certified or Licensed Medical Assistant will provide professional medical care in the physician's practice according to established medical standards and practices. This individual will assess the condition of patients to help determine possible treatment and care. In addition, this person will assist in office procedures and provide daily routine office operational support. REQUIREMENTS Education High School and certification as Medical Assistant or appropriate licensure, plus CPR training. Experience A minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in a physician's office as a member of the clinical staff is required.
