Wabash County Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of QuickMed, a walk-in clinic designed to provide treatment for patients who require immediate medical attention, but who are not in an emergency situation. QuickMed services include the treatment of a variety of conditions such as minor injuries and illnesses, bumps, bruises, sprains, strains, minor lacerations, coughs, colds and flu-like symptoms.
“We are excited about the addition of QuickMed to our list of service lines,” commented Marilyn Custer-Mitchell, President & CEO. “People can stay close to home and receive high quality, immediate care. We believe it is a valuable service for our entire community.”
QuickMed is staffed by two nurse practitioners — Renee Holley FNP-C and Marcy Pratt FNP-C — and is located adjacent to the emergency department of Wabash County Hospital. The hours of operation for QuickMed are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
